Model Homes You Must Visit!
The model homes listed in this special feature of the Coastal Bend New Homes Guide have earned the right to be spotlighted. Even though paid advertising, it should be pointed out that the participants here were invited and mandated to meet certain requirements. All of the participants are award-winning builders from previous Parade of Homes competitions and have received recognitions of excellence from their industry peers.
Five select model homes by three of the Coastal Bend’s premier builders: Levian Homes, Live Oak Construction, and Newcastle Homes, are featured in this issue. These models are stellar examples of fine craftsmanship and unique options and amenities. From gourmet chef kitchens to serene spa baths; from an interior hanging garden in one to an interior elevator in another; and from cozy fireplaces to an outdoor backyard shower—the builders anticipated our every need and wish. Plus, the homes are all about putting family first: family rooms, family-friendly yards, and family neighborhoods.
In addition, and perhaps more importantly, the model homes featured in this section have earned certifications of high performance and superior construction from such programs as Zero Energy Ready Homes, ENERGY STAR®, BUILT TO SAVE™, and Coastal Bend GreenBuilt (CBGB). These initiatives are voluntary programs that serve to identify homes that have been inspected during construction and tested after completion by an independent third-party home energy Rater. The Raters are certified by the Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) and provide a written guarantee as proof of the home’s compliance with the strict requirements of each program.
* These model homes will be open to the public during the dates of the Coastal Bend Home Builders Association’s 2019 Parade of Homes scheduled for (Saturday & Sunday) September 21-22; 28-29; and October 5-6; from 10am to 6pm on each day. Note that an admission fee of $5 is required (Ages 17 and under are free). A portion of the ticket sales will go to Operation Finally Home. Ticket sales will begin on September 1, 2019.
MODEL HOMES
